Our Approach
Being a DJ is not my full time job. We do have a lot of experience, but your event will be special for us too – we do this on the side because we love it so much. I usually spend many hours preparing music in the months leading up to each event. Your event will be uniquely built for you.
I love to talk about the WHY behind the things that we do. Here’s my theory behind why a DJ’s music and dancing make all the difference in a great event.

Weddings
You’ve been day-dreaming about this day. It’s finally coming and you want to just enjoy every moment. But who knew it would be SO much work?!
We’ll help you plan the perfect event. Fill out our wedding questionnaire. It will help you (and us) plan your big day. If you’d like, you can plan every detail, or on the other extreme, you can put your complete trust in our experience. Most people choose something in between.
We worry about all the details so you can savor the time with your family and friends when the big day arrives. The music will become a special memory which will last forever. Don’t forget to relax and dance to your favorite songs! Later when you hear that song, your feelings will come flooding back. Music makes an impression on your heart.

Ward Parties and Church Youth Dances:
Choosing clean music and ensuring a fun, wholesome environment is the highest priority of our church dances and parties. We pick songs that are free from explicit lyrics and inappropriate themes, focusing on positive messages that encourage dancing and celebration.
We vary the playlist with fast-paced tracks and slower songs, catering to all ages and tastes, often incorporating requests, karaoke if you want it, and group dances.
We enhance the fun with themed lighting, and engaging activities like dance competitions, party songs and Just Dance 🕺💃. If you create a well-planned schedule and provide chaperones as needed, we will create an epic experience for everyone.
Parties should be about getting to know people better and having a great time! Dances provide opportunities to help people make lasting bonds and memories.

School Dances
Life altering decisions are made on the dance floor, at least it feels that way, and sometimes it ends up being true.
Our approach for a school dance is to give everyone some of what they want, and some of what they need. Every school dance has a lot of epic dance hits in the way that high school dances in Utah have become over the years, but we like to shake up expectations a bit so there are opportunities for getting past social barriers and comfort zones. Some people need a fast song for a boost, others need a slow song. Some need the courage to go ask someone to dance, and they can only do that if they hear their favorite song.
Every dance is a balance and flow of energy throughout the night. You can’t be at level 11/10 all the time without taking it down a notch every once in a while. Many songs contain their own flow within them to help build and release that energy, other times the DJ conducts the symphony of energy to where it needs to go.

Corporate Events & Parties
Everyone relaxes and gets to know each other better through a company party or event.
Some upbeat or relaxing music in the background allows people to feel that happy beat, but still be able to talk over the sound.
When it’s time for announcements or presentations, a microphone goes a long way to helping everyone understand, even in a busy environment.
Lighting can also enhance the mood and lend a sense of pride.
